This project finds multiple individuals exploring the different stages of pursuing their dreams and reflecting on their current lives, as well as exploring the meaning of our lives towards success. It uses a photographer’s perspective to show the contrast between the dreams and realities of our motivation, so as to inspire other people. As a child, I had wished to become a racing driver, watching Formula 1 and driving a Go-Kart. I never dreamed of becoming a photographer. I hope this project can let the readers know that even if what they’re doing now wasn’t the intended dream, they can also thrive.

We’re hoping to live temporarily around the world from time to time in the future. So we could go for adventures and stay for a bit longer than a usual holiday to taste the local culture.
We’d say our current life is fulfilled and busy. Sometimes we wish we have few more hours per day. But we are passionated with what we are doing for living. Maybe in the near future, we’ll able to have more free time to enjoy life!

‘Growing up, I wished to open a toy store for fun! During secondary school, I became interested in architecture & art. I studied architectural studies at HKU and AA Architectural Association in London. I picked up my hobby again while working in an architecture firm in London in 2007; then I founded an airsoft business and YouTube channel. I quit architecture and switched my field to airsoft till now.’
‘During these 17 years, I achieved my childhood dream. I found the purpose of my life—bringing customers happiness and materialising their heroic desires through airsoft activities with my unique attention to detail and aesthetics.’
‘When I came to the UK, they were miserable about what had happened over the last half-decade, the events in Hong Kong after 2019, and giving up all the success in Hong Kong for the future. I’m glad to be in the UK.’
